Laser rifles and laser carbines are some of the more common types of weaponry in the Entropia Universe.

Including some of the most commonly used weapons that also have low cost, decent durability and a decent learning experience boost, these are suitable weapons for a newcomer to own (as well as the veterans). Additionally, rifles usually have a decent range that is useful for picking off enemies from a distance.

Laser Rifles most commonly use medium to heavy weapon cells, which can be purchased at any Trade Terminal in towns or outpost.

The most common laser carbine is the Sollomate Opalo, which can be bought at any Trade Terminal. It is the ideal weapon for most newcomers. It does around 3-8 damage per hit, with an excellent decay rate. It burns 2 ammo/use, and can be further enhanced using laser amps, scopes and laser sights.

More advanced rifles, like the A-3 Punisher Mk. I, use more ammo per shot but can do an impressive 21 damage (unamped) and 35 with an Omegaton A103.
