Tina Lieu

Tina Lieu, also known in-game as Island Girl, was "the quintessential Gamer Chick, rolling out of bed and logging into Project Entropia as the first thing she did in the morning. Besides logging into Project Entropia between her daily chores, she also spent more money on her virtual clothes than on herself in real life."

A great believer in the future of Virtual Reality, Tina Lieu encouraged many of her friends and relatives to play Project Entropia, including her boyfriend Jon NEVERDIE Jacobs, parents and son.

When she died on 20 Febuary 2005, many people from the Project Entropia community felt nothing but sorrow for their fallen comrade, who had been very active in the Project Entropia community, helping new players find their feet among other things. She was well-known for her kind nature and her striking personality.

Tina Leiu Wiseman was a Samoan Princess; the Great Granddaughter of the High Chief (Mu Ulufale) and founder of the village Futiga, in American Samoa. She worked for the state, building Highways, before moving to Miami and studying physical therapy and massage, she was a natural healer like her Samoan Grandmother (Leiu Ulufale,Leomiti). But Tina had long been nurturing dreams of singing and acting and while in Miami she started training.

Tina appeared in a number of independent films in Miami and Europe, before she moved to Hollywood to make a real go of it. There she met her Soul Mate indie filmmaker Jon Jacobs and they had a son together Taliesin Pele Jacobs. Tina recorded some dance songs in Los Angeles including her personal Anthem “Island Girl”. They moved to Miami in 2002 and spent three years making the Film Hey DJ! About the worldwide DJ Phenomenon, Tina Starred in the movie and recorded more songs for the soundtrack. However One of the Tracks, she had recorded for HEY DJ “To the Club” was released under the name Spankox, in Europe in 2004 and became one of the biggest Dance Hits of the Year! Tina courageously built her strength and managed to make Music Videos for her hit song and travel to Ibiza and Berlin to promote HEY DJ!

Despite her glowing outward appearance, Tina was definitely experiencing a drain on her life force and she knew it was possible she was living on borrowed time. She lived her last year to the fullest in an effort to create an enduring legacy and she had just arrived in Freeport , Bahamas to relax, enjoy her son and audition for a role in Pirates of the Caribbean 2, when without any warning she was swiftly passed away.

On 2/23/04 she wrote, "As an Artist, I want to share love in the form of music. Giving reasons to live, teaching children to have love for themselves. Confident no matter what else happens, and [in spite of] all the pain life and people will give you. You must believe in [yourself], be not afraid to build your talents, not afraid to become all that you dream. These are the words I leave my son."
