Project Entropia Mini Noob Guide (by Nika Gerson Lohman)
During my first days in Entropia I needed some help to decide what to do in this parallel universe. There are many guides, but most of them require much reading.
If you can spend the time, go to the Guide section and read each of the guides. Don't forget to stop back and read this guide too as it might give some extra helpfull hints :)
If you prefer not to read all the info available, which I do recommend to do (it will make you more succesfull in the game), here's a Mini-Noob-Guide for Project Entropia...
- Find a mentor - you have limited time in the beginning of the game and a mentor will be able to help you out
- Spend a little cash, say $50, to get yourself started in the game - just "sweating" might be good practice, but it will not get you forward in the game
- Get a Sollomate Opalo (from a Trade Terminal) - whatever you do in future this is a usefull and cheap weapon everyone should have
- Get a Goblin armour (from an auction) - definately not the Settler armour of the Trade Terminals
- Do a TP-run with the above armour and weapon, you can use a program called Project Entropia Assistant to find your way, it contains TP Run maps for both continents, Amethera and Eudoria
- Try to avoid mob till you know what mob you can handle (see usefull websites below)
If you want to be a hunter, follow the next steps:
- When you have all TP's you can start killing mob, soon you will see you need new armour
- Find yourself the following armours (please note that much better combinations of armours and plates can be made, but this is a good way to start):
- Ghost + Armor Plating 5B -> usefull for most mob
- Goblin + Armor Plating 2C -> best for Globster, Gradivore, Snablesnot
- Vigilante + Armor Plating 6A -> best for Attacker, Drone, Formidon, Itumatrox, Trooper Bot, TskTsk, Warlock and Warrior Bot
- Get the following weapons:
- A-3 Justifier Mk.II -> strong and "affordable" weapon
- Comprehensive SIB Guide -> read this and see what to get after Sollomate Opalo, depending on the skill you have
And now for some usefull websites:
Project Entropia Assistant: Make notes, paste notes, open websites and see maps (for instance for the TP Run)
Entropedia Mob vs. Armour: Which armour will protect me for what mobs
Entropedia Mob Locations: What mobs are in what locations
Entropedia Weapons: How strong is a weapon and which attachments can be used
Skill Scanner: Make screenprints of skills and professions to export your skills
Entropedia Upload Avatar Statistics: Upload the skills and professions exported using skill scanner
Chipping Optimizer: Figure out how many skills to insert for certain professions (if you have enough money ;)) using the exported skills
Autoscreen: Nice program to automatically make screenprints of Globals, Hall of Fames (HOFs) and Skill Increases
My Items: The official place to get a list of all your items
Inventory Calc: Great website to calculate your inventory (copy from My Items) and see what is worth most
Inventory Compare: Calculate how much a hunt or mining run cost - copy "My Items" table before and after...
Skill Calc: Calculate how much your skills are worth
PE-Auction: See the value of items available on auctions
Entropia Forum: Forum that provides answers to most questions
