System Requirements
Entropia Universe requires a fairly good Internet (broadband) connection for optimum playing. However, it is still possible to play via dial up or ISDN lines, the trade-off being that resultant game play will be affected by a very high latency. Therefore, it is worth at least having a 512Kbps DSL/Cable/T1 low-latency connection for a playable experience.If Entropia Universe is played on a connection having speed less than 128Kbps then you might experience problems like your avatar might take much time to move or you might lose connection occasionaly.

Entropia Universe requiere una buena conexión para una jugabilidad óptima. Sin embargo, es posible jugar mediante dial up o líneas ISDN, el problema es que la jugabilidad se verá afectada por una enorme latencia. Por lo tanto, es recomendable tener como mínimo una conexión de 512Kbps para jugar fluidamente.
Operating Systems compatibility
Currently only the Windows platform is supported, thus rendering users of Linux/Unix, Mac, DOS, and other operating systems unable to play Entropia Universe. This is heavily based on the fact that the underlying graphics/game engine that the game uses is reliant on DirectX, which is a Microsoft proprietary driver platform. This said, some people have still been successful in getting Entropia Universe to work under Linux using WINE, however this is not supported by Mindark and has not been fully and throughly tested.
