The 10th and 11th Society Expeditions went ahead at about 23:00 Friday 15th and 10:30 Saturday 16th February 2008.

The Teams


Friday

The team assembled at Fort Troy and calculated inventories, then moved northeast to the beacon location.

The Beacon Run

The bot killing phase ran smoothly. With a full team of 12 there were plenty of looters to assign to the various levels. At the looting stage Seed disconected for some time. Although Seed reconnected and got most of his boxes himself, other members, including myself were double checking seeds level. As a result of this 2 people, including Seed were killed when the ship exploded. Dropps computer rebooted during the looting, but he reconnected in the ship and got killed in the explosion.

10 out of 12 team members survived the mission. Although we had hoped for a 100% survival rate, we did magage to loot 100% of boxes and save 10 ppl despite a disconnect. This is an encouraging result.

Loot was average.

The mission was considered to be a success.

Saturday

The team assembled at Nymphtown and calculated inventories. The team then moved west to the beacon location.


The Beacon Run

There were 9 members on this mission. At the bot killing stage the lower-level team members were aggressively killing drones and the spearhead backed off a little to even out damage distribution. Some members took damage and had to heal, but there were no serious incidents. Looting was tight, with Antonio solo'ing the boss level and 3 on Maze. Mel also solo'd the 'Pistol' level, although fortunately is was quite high.

Loot

Loot was very bad. 100% of boxes were opened. A few ppl survived, but not sure how many. Net loot after beacon was only 17 PED

The mission was considered to be a success.
