Skill Implants

Skill Implants are tools that can be used to move skill points from one avatar to another. Two tools are needed for the process to work:
- An empty skill implant (ESI) (Collected from hunting mobs)
- Surgical Tool from the Trade Terminal
The chip is to do either one of two things:
- Chip-out: Used for those who want to cash out of the game, or if the player is in need of ped. Depending on the TT amount of the ESI, you could store various amounts of a skill onto the chip. During the procedure, a person will lose 4% of the total skill amount withdrawn. Your profession of that skill will also decrease, and any hidden skills that rely on that skill will become 'locked'; to unlock these again you will have to skill or chip in more skills.
- Chip-in: Used if you want a quick boost in a skill level. Chipping skills is a rather expensive business depending on the amount of skill levels you get, however it raises your skill levels and can cut weeks or months off of intensive natural skilling. When you insert the chip the chip itself is destroyed.
If there is still room for skills when you are chipping out, you will receive either ped or another, lower TT implant.
