A society is a group of beings distinguishable from other groups by mutual interests, characteristic relationships, shared institutions, ranking and a common culture. In political science, the term is often used to mean the amalgamation of all voluntary human relationships, generally in contrast to the State, an institution of legal aggression.
An Entropia Universe society is sometimes referred to as a soc. All society related actions except society chat are executed through the Society Terminal. Additionally, a society in Entropia Universe can be sometimes focused on one specific profession such as hunting, skilling, trading, mining, etc. A list of societies can be found in the Society Terminal, and applications to join a society are also made via the terminal.
