Where not to mine

Kill me guys but I havent noticed the marks after detonate the bombs, maybe it's depend from graphic settings, but after droping bombs by myself i cant see the marks (however I spoted similiar to the example screeenshot marks, and event then i found claims next to them)

You are right, the marks things is deceiving, not present anymore. The only way to guarantee an area is ok to mine is:
  1. nobody passed there 30 mins or earlier
  2. you have been able to mine shallow deposits there
  3. generally the loot is ok at that time
