The 99.99 PED quest

This is a three stage competition. As each stage completes, the next one will be available and details will be supplied. The duration of each stage is about a week, so it will end around 5th of May.

The plot: I need someone to write an article about a certain ingame structure, the exact type and details of the target will not be revealed up until the second stage. The information about the target and the articles created will be available in the third stage.

The job: You will be presented with a private area in which you will be able to compose your article. This area will be kept free of visitors, and it should not be made public to anyone. Upon completion of the job, it will be made public and compared to the other privately created works. Knowledge on basic MediaWiki markup, image uploading, and journalist abilities are required to complete the job.

The loot: I will offer 99.99 PED for the article voted the best as the contest prize. I reserve the right to offer 1 pec more, for the grand full sum :) of 100 PED, only if I am really impressed! Other perks may be offered to the contest winner.

First stage

Register on this page in order to take part in this competition. You will need to register onto Entropia Directory in order to participate. Exceptions to this rule are considered, but I will require more information in this case. I will also need a screenshot of your ingame skill window, showing the society and identity of your avatar. This will make you eligible for the prize money if you win the contest.

Again, to register you need to provide:

EntropiaDirectory username (or EF username in extreme cases)
email reply to confirm your registration (do not write your email in clear text, owning an account and allowing email will be enough)
screenshot of your avatar info screen (uploaded to EF, your ED user page, upload.entropiadirectory.com, or any other image sharing service)

The first stage will end on April 21st 2007. At this point all registered members will enter the second stage. No registrations will be possible after this point.

Second stage

At this step, the registered users will be given access to private websites, where they will indepedently write their article, according to the rules provided. The topics, sites, subjects and rules are not to be made public to anyone, not even the other registrants. Users found to break this rule by inviting others to view their private areas can get eliminated from the quest.

Special notes

I reserve the right to cancel the contest at any time for a good reason. If I'm unable to pay with hard cash, I will be forced to use items valued at tt value. Any contestations of the public vote will result in a re-evaluation of some or all the entries by other means.
