- Finally found a new place to live! - Rental...
- CONS
- - Its a dog box, or Studio makes it sound better, but its not the 4 bedroom house I am in now.
- - Its expensive for its size
- - I have to throw out a lot of accumulated Trash / Treasure (depending on your perspective) that I have hoarded over 5+ years in current house.
- - I have 10 days to move.
- - No land line (phone) so no ADSL (would have to pay for a a phone line to be brought to the 'Studio'.
- - No cable internet to the area.
- - Only one Wireless provider to that area (the most expensive of 3 choices)
- - Closest hotspot is 10kms away (McDonalds - paid)
- - Its SMALL [smile]
- CONS
- PROS
- - I will be living alone for first time in over 25 years [smile]
- - All essential bills are paid with it, electricity, gas, water, satellite TV
- - It a very manageable space and garden that I will have looking like an oasis
- - Its right in the suburb of Hurstbridge, a quaint - last train stop suburb, alternative style with lots of organic shops and cafes
- - I can do what I like to the place, which will include moving my shed/workshop to the property
- - I will be forced to be ruthless and throw out or sell everything that is of no immediate use.
- - Its my dog box!!!
- PROS
This means that You probably wont see me in EU for a few weeks after the 8th Dec
..but I will be active on ED via a mates place and internet cafe!

- Two days of moving left!!! Thrown out a lot of crap I haven't looked at for years. Sold some of the better crap on eBay... Only keeping stuff I really love in the new place!
- Phone will go on Monday and ADSL should get transfered soon after. Here's hoping that turning off one switch at one exchange and turning another off at the new exchange does not take 12 employees 12 days just to communicate the task required ;) I'll keep ya posted!

- well getting my ADSL back online was a major headache &%#$%&*!
- But after 27 support phone calls to Bangladesh, two service technicians I ended up solving the problem myself! :)
